Snohomish Flying Service is a full service FBO situated on Harvey Field, in Snohomish, WA. Within view, when in flight, are scenic mountain ranges, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker and Mt. St. Helens, forests, rivers, lakes and streams, the colorful tulip fields and the beautiful San Juan Islands littered with ferry docks, marinas, delightful shopping areas and restaurants. SF offers flight training, charter, scenic and photo flights on a daily basis both in Helicopters and Airplanes in one of the most beautiful regions of the world.

Harvey Field is rich with tradition, still in private ownership by the founding family and situated on the original 160-acre homestead of John and Christina Harvey. Since 1859 the homestead has passed from one generation to the next and the airport and airport operations today remain actively owned and managed by the Harvey Family. Harvey Field was established in 1944 as a public use privately owned airport and in the late 1970's was designated by the Federal Aviation Administration as an FAA Reliever Airport for SeaTac International.

The Airport is well known for its colorful aviation atmosphere and entertaining array of activities such as scenic helicopter & airplane flights, hot air ballooning and skydiving. Harvey Field is the stomping ground for the oldest parachute club in the United States, the Seattle Skydivers. The group's membership maintains clubhouse operations at the Skydive Snohomish Parachute Center. Harvey Field is home to over 329 based aircraft and conducts over 140,000 operations (take-off's and landings) annually. The first flight took place off "Harvey Ball Park" on the homestead land in May of 1911 and the First Hot Air Balloon took flight from the same location in the early 1900's. Harvey Field boasts a rich, colorful, deeply rooted and traditional aviation history. The airport is served by two runways. The asphalt runway (RWY 32R/14L) is 2750 in length and the parallel grass runway (RWY 32L/14R is 2650 in length. All primary and secondary taxiways are paved with reflector illumination. The lights on RWY 32R/14L are illuminated from dusk to dawn. The Harvey Unicom advisory is attended from 7:30AM until dusk, 7 days a week. The airport is within walking distance of downtown Snohomish, a city with historic character and many antique and specialty shops, great Seafood and Mexican restaurants, several Art Galleries and a river walk trail through the historic downtown district.

SF offers FAA approved pilot training courses in both Helicopters and Airplanes and you will find our staff friendly, experienced and eager to teach. SF is approved for Veteran's training and is authorized to issue M-1 Visas for alien students wishing to enter the United States for the purpose of pursuing a Professional Pilot Training career. Dormitory units for students enrolled in full time flight training courses are located just 50 yards from the flight school and adjacent to a full service restaurant. You will find the school's facilities well maintained, technologically advanced, modern and professionally staffed.
