As the administrator you can easily down aircraft for maintenance. To down an aircraft for maintenance follow these steps:

a. Login
b. From the Main Menu click "Down Aircraft"
c. Select the aircraft to be downed, enter the effective start date of maintenance and start time, enter a end date and time, and then enter a reason for taking the aircraft off-line.
d. Click the "Down Aircraft for Maintenance" button.
e. A popup box will appear asking you to finalize the maintenance. Click "OK".

NOTE: This utility is primarily used to down aircraft for maintenance. When you select an aircraft and time period the following actions will occur:

1. Any reservation by any pilot already made during your selected time period will be deleted.

2. If a pilot had a reservation that was deleted, they will automatically be sent an e-mail notifying them of the deleted reservation.

3. Your new reservation will be made and your reason for downing the aircraft will be posted.

4. A list of deleted reservations along with each pilot's name and contact information will appear after the schedule override has been made. Even though each pilot receives an e-mail notifying them of their deleted reservation it is always a good idea to give them a call.
