Communication Between Admins, Member Pilots and Instructors


As the administrator of your organization you have many communication channels between you and your members. Please click on a link below to explore the communication method listed:


1. E-mailing members.
2. Mass e-mailing your members.
3. Posting news and NOTAM's for members to read when they login.
4. Posting aircraft messages.
5. Posting Bulletin Board messages.

1. As the administrator you can e-mail your members.

Instructions: To e-mail your members follow these directions:

a. Login
b. Click on the "Send E-mail" link.
c. Enter a subject, message and then check the boxes next to the members you would like to e-mail.
d. Click the "Send Email" button.

2. Mass e-mailing your members.

Instructions: You can send an e-mail to all of your members with the click of a button. To mass e-mail your members follow these directions:

a. Login
b. Click on the "Send E-mail" Link.

c. Enter a subject, message and then click the "Check All" link. (We recommend that you write your email message in your own word processor on your computer, such as Microsoft Word, then copy and paste the text into the "message" section and send.)
d. Click the "Send Email" button.

3. Posting news and NOTAM's for members to read when they login.

Instructions:
You can post important news items and NOTAM's for your members to read when they login. To do this, follow these directions:

a. Login
b. In the middle column of your Main Menu you will see a Notams section and a News section. Click "Edit NOTAMs", or "Edit News" to edit the appropriate section.
c. Enter your news items and NOTAM's and then click "Save."

4. Posting aircraft messages.

Instructions:
As the administrator you can post messages for your aircraft. When a member tries to schedule an aircraft you have set a message for, it will be posted for them to read BEFORE they make a reservation. To set aircraft messages, do the following:

a. Login
b. Click on the "Aircraft" link.
c. Click the tail number of the appropriate aircraft.
d. Enter your "Aircraft Message" and click the "Save" button.

5. Posting Bulletin Board messages.

Instructions: As the administrator you can post messages on your organization Bulletin Board. To post a message, do the following:

a. Login
b. Click the "Bulletin Board" link.
c. Near the top of this page, click the "Click Here to post a new message" link.
d. Enter your message at the bottom of this page and click the "post" button.
