Explanation of Instructor Rights

As an instructor you have unique capabilities. You have complete control over your schedule and can make reservations for other pilots and students. Also, see below:

1. By default, an instructor can reserve more than one aircraft during the same time period. (This setting can be restricted)
2. When an instructor deletes a reservation made on his/hers schedule, an e-mail is sent to person who made the reservation explaining that it was canceled.
3. When a student makes a reservation on your schedule, you are automatically notified by e-mail of the new reservation.
4. As an instructor, you can delete other member reservations that were made on your schedule.
5. If you make a reservation for someone else, you are still able to delete and modify the reservation.
6. You have your own schedule on the system so students can schedule your time.
7. You get your own "Instructor Schedule" when you login, that displays your appointments for the day.
8. You also have a feature that allows you to schedule recurring appointments. This is great for scheduling time-off.
