College Experiences 2x Growth Using FSP
Clover Park Technical College (CPTC) started using Flight Schedule Pro (FSP) in February 2013. Before FSP, Flight Instructor Marshall Collins recalled using a software that did not allow them to properly schedule flights and billing was done manually. In addition, that software crashed on a regular basis. As they were growing in student size, so was the office work needed to complete all the paperwork.

Marshall also tried using an Excel document to perform scheduling which ended up not working due to multiple staff members needing to access information at the same time which fails while using a spreadsheet.

The time frame for Onboarding was less than 60 days. Instead of waiting until the next quarter to jump into the software, they immediately dove in and started using it so that they could take advantage of the reporting.
FSP’s reports have allowed the Aviation Department to meet with Administration and request new resources when they’re at capacity. They appreciate that they can quickly access reports that give them the information needed including student account balances for billing. Flight scheduling is easy and everyone can see their schedule no matter where they are. In addition, they love the maintenance alerts that help maximize aircraft utilization and minimize downtime. With FSP, they have been able to grow from 30-40 students to an average of 60 students per semester.
